Fine 1710 Violin by Italian Violinmaker Giovanni Baptista Grancino For Sale

(1673 – c. after 1723) Son of leading 17th-century Milanese violin maker Giovanni Grancino, Giovanni Battista assisted his father in his successful workshop on the Contrada Larga, and was probably responsible for much of its output by the end of the century.

This particular violin is beautifully warm and rich sounding. The ribs and scroll are later reproductions making this a great value for musicians.
