Mass Obligation Reminder: please remember that Archbishop Aquila has restored the obligation to attend Mass in the Archdiocese of Denver, and that watching it on YouTube does not satisfy the obligation.
Those with a grave cause are excused from the obligation. “Grave causes” include:
- Anyone who is sick, symptomatic, or has been recently exposed to the coronavirus. Protecting the health of others is an act of Christian charity and our moral duty to one another.
- Anyone with significant health risk factors that requires them to avoid public spaces, or if you care for someone with significant risk factors.
Missing Mass without a grave cause is itself a serious sin. We look forward to seeing you back at the parish.
