Recently, I have also been involved in recording session guitar work for a Northern Irish rock group with esteemed and well-respected musicians in our local music scene. We put out the following single as a tribute to Matthew Ashman (Guitarist for Adam & The Ants, Bow Wow Wow and Chiefs Of Relief). Matthew, unfortunately, passed away in the 1990s. But a good friend of his, Ian Stewart (a Northern Irish footballer) recently found old demos of Matthew’s and helped put together the group to record Matthew’s music. With the blessings of Paul Cook (Sex Pistols, Chiefs Of Relief) we recorded this.
