Is it really that easy to KO with a karate chop to the neck?

Self defense guru Tim Larkin made a video about the effectiveness of striking the vagus nerve with a knife hand chop or similar strike, asserting that it was an easy way to knock out an opponent. But how easy is it really? “Easy” is a relative term when it comes to fighting. If it were easy, it wouldn’t actually be a fight. Well, that depends on how good you are at fighting! Fighting is the art of position and then attack. The opposite does not work.
