Healthy Roasted Almonds

Almonds are a good source of healthy fat and natural vitamin E. Unfortunately, their availability in your average super market comes down to two options: processed (bagged or canned), or raw. The processed variety surely offers something reasonably unhealthy and the raw variety taste horribly raw. There is a middle ground - it's called "roasting" and you do it yourself, very easily at home. Pan roasting your almonds at home requires ZERO added ingredients. Almonds and heat, that's it. The result is fundamentally amazing.

Grab that versatile cast iron pan I told you about
(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxQrPOZev_A&list=PLu9f_nDQuTh8WYPCYnJsrpMgdamgcC3I3&index=3), heat ti up, dump in the almonds, and stir them around until they stated cracking open. Continue to roast them until they reach your desired degree of "roastedness." Spill them out onto your immaculately clean counter top, or cutting board, spread them out and let them cool.

25 almonds contain (approximately):
