South Florida Brightline Construction: Port Salerno to Palm Beach Gardens - February 13, 2021

In this update, I head back to South Florida to check on the construction progress of Brightline’s phase 2 passenger rail expansion to Orlando. This update will focus on work between Port Salerno and Palm Beach Gardens. My next video will focus on Palm Beach Gardens to West Palm Beach

I start this video by looking at the construction of several small bridges, a crossover, and crossing upgrades between Port Salerno and Hobe Sound.

Equipment and material staging in Tequesta followed by work on the Jupiter Drawbridge is next

The rest of the video is focused on new sections of double track and upgraded crossings. The center street crossing was being upgraded as I passed by. Several sections of track have had ballast laid and spread.
