These Siblings Stepped In & Saved Their Mom from Suicide

Rachael Siddoway and Lincoln Wasden are siblings. Their mother, Sonja Wasden, lives with severe bipolar disorder. In 2015, after years of Sonja mentioning that she wanted to take her life, she attempted suicide. Thankfully, Sonja survived after swallowing 200 pills. She Skypes in to the show with her children to talk about healing from mental illness and with a message of hope for families going through similar experiences.
