Ms. Melodie was one of the first female MC’s in Hip Hop who was respected by her male peers and was able to hold her own. She was married to KRS-One for a period of time so you know she had skills. Paying homage to another Hip-Hop star who passed on. RIP. Ms. Melodie, the stage name of Ramona Parker (née Scott; March 21, 1969 – July 17, 2012)
