How to tell if your Viscous Fan Clutch is Bad - Sprinter Vans / Other Vehicles

this is a brief video to show a simple diagnostic test to see if you have a fan clutch that has failed to produce torque. this will apply to T1N sprinters as well as NCV3 equipped with a viscous fan clutch. this also applies to any vehicle with a viscous fan clutch.

this is not a definitive test for something with an electric clutch.
