Marrakech, guide 2020

Marrakech, a city I used to live in for over 2 years. So much to show, but I took some parts I think are interesting for most.
I have included som tips and tricks as always.

What is the true price with Taxi between Jemaa El Fna and plaza, with counter? Sad but true....... (Good Metalica song)... the true price between Jemaa el fna and Plaza, daytime is 8 dh and after 20:00 / 8 pm in the evening its 10 dh.
So after watching other Youtubers staying a few days in Marrakech and is "saying it cost 40 dh between Plaza and Jemaa el fna" I had to do some corrections...We should help each other to "fight" for the right to have real good prices. :)
Another tip I can give you when it comes to taxi.... if you are up to 3 people, the price is for the trip, NOT for each passanger, that some taxi driver would say IF he is kind to start the counter instead of scamming with a "fixed price".

Last tip, that makes me even the "enemy nr 1" for all taxi drivers in all of Morocco... the starting price for the counter daytime should be 1,77 or 2 dh and in evening after 20:00/ 8 pm is 2:55 or 3 depending on how new counter they have in the taxi. Be aware daytime when the counter passes 3 dh, sometimes the taxi driver stop the counter and create a new trip with starting price 3 dh, that means the taxi driver now drives with the "night tarriff".
Maybe this is small money for most tourists, but for me who lived 7 years in Morocco, I wanted to have same price as Maroc people had....

And, the price is for the TRIP, not for EACH person.
Same with taxi from/ to the airport of Marrakech. The price is 70 dh for the TRIP, not for each person. 90% of all taxi drivers are scammers in Marrakech, so be aware.
I walk as much as possible, and the distance between Guliz/plaza and Jemaa el fna is around 1,5 km. not so far to walk right?
