Ep # 2 - SAILING THROUGH EUROPE ON RIVERS AND CANALS - FIGHTING THE CURRENT

The total length of the canal/river part of this journey is 1950 kilometer. Personally I lost some pounds, but what a sacrifice, we had a blast. We exited the waterways at Lubeck/Travemunde after mast and sails were installed. The journey continued along the Danish eastcoast up to Skagen. We got a lucky weather-window and made a passage over to Grimstad in southern Norway in 14 hours and arrived on July 1st.
This footage is mainly for our own memories, but can be interesting for fellow yachtsmen planning a passage through Europe. A trip for a lifetime, and we made it twice. It is wonderful to be on the waterways, lots of history and always a place to stay.
