What is Occupational Therapy?

I've mentioned before a few times that I'm going to school to become an occupational therapy assistant and I've mentioned occupational therapy (OT) as a fantastic idea for autistic people, especially for those who want or need help with practical skills without the compliance-based model of ABA. However, a lot of people don't really know what OT is, so I wanted to try to help explain.

In this video, I share about what occupational therapy is, why I want to be an occupational therapy assistant, and why I think it is uniquely helpful for the autistic population.
