Puppy Cocktails: The SoCo Litters

I have always named my Chihuahua puppies and dogs after cocktails. This was a theme for my program where I would never run out of names!

During my forced three month vacation from dog shows, I have received many ideas and challenges to keep me busy. One was to make and sample the cocktails that inspired the selected puppy names. Clarissa and I co-own the moms to two litter sired by a dog named SoCo (Southern Comfort). Watch the fun and laughs of the first episode of Puppy Cocktails!

Cocktail Recipes:
Alabama Slammer
1 ounce Southern Comfort
1 ounce amaretto
1 ounce sloe gin
2 ounces orange juice

Souther Breeze
1.5 ounce Southern Comfort Lime
2 ounces pomegranate juice
1.5 ounce lychee juice
Wedge of lime

Southern Belle
1 oz. Southern Comfort
3/4 oz. Triple Sec
2 oz. Orange Juice
Pineapple Juice
Splash of Grenadine

Mississippi Mud
1 1/2 oz. Southern Comfort or Bourbon
1 1/2 oz. coffee liqueur (Kalva or Tia Maria)
2 lg. scoops vanilla ice cream
Shaved chocolate for garnish (optional)
