Ramadan Meal Prep | Easy Make & Freeze Recipes

Today I am showing you guys some super easy recipes that can be made before Ramadan so you can just pull them out of the freezer and eat! Some of these are great for suhur or even for iftar or after iftar as a dessert hope you all enjoy and let me know which one you like the most!

Recipes
Frozen yoghurt bars
(originally from pickuplimes)

INGREDIENTS

1 cup (about 12) pitted soft dates*
2 cups (180 g) rolled oats (GF if preferred)
1 cup (250 ml) almond butter
1/4 cup (28 g) ground flaxseed
1 tsp (5 g) ground cinnamon
1.5 cups (375 ml) plant yoghurt
1 cup (100 g) frozen berries or fresh fruit, stewed

Optional Toppings
granola
sliced almonds
toasted coconut flakes

Directions​

First, stew the berries until soft, set aside to cool.
In a food processor, blend the dates until they are smooth, scraping down the sides as needed. Add the oatmeal, ground flaxseed, almond butter, and cinnamon and combine, scraping down the sides once or twice.
Transfer the mix to a parchment lined baking dish and press the base into the dish.
Top with the yogurt and spread out evenly.
Dot the yogurt with the stewed berries and use a knife to swirl.
Place into the freezer and let freeze for 1-2 hours, or until the bars are solid enough to cut.
When removed from the freezer, cut into squares or bars of desired size.
Let thaw for 3-5 minutes before eating. Enjoy!
Foccacia

Ingredients
Pizza dough
Toppings of your choice
Olive oil

Directions

Place dough on well-greased pan with olive oil, shape dough to the pan. Allow to rest for 2 hours. Garnish with rosemary, salt, parmesan or toppings of your choice, cook according to pizza dough instructions.

Chocolate Overnight Oats

INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup Old Fashioned Oatmeal
- 1/4 cup Lowfat, plain Greek Yogurt (optional)
- 1/4 cup Almond Milk
- 1 T Chia Seeds

Chocolate Banana Topping:
-Bananas, Cocoa Powder, Chocolate chips, Syrup

DIRECTIONS
1) Combine oatmeal, almond milk and chia seeds in a container with lid.
2) Add sweetener (and cocoa powder for choco banana flavor) and shake.
3) Refrigerate overnight.
4) If you would like your overnight oats warm, microwave for 30-60 seconds. Top with remaining toppings!
5) Optional - freeze once the oats have sat overnight
