He Got a GIANT COBIA From Kayak!!

we launched in search of cobia. we grinded heavy, covered many miles, saw many sharks, had a couple shots at cobes each. brennan and evan each got a nice fish, brennans was the biggest Ive ever seen! I had a great shot at a pack of cobes.. casted just ahead of them, got hit by a bluefish instantly, which then got smoked by a cobe and I didn’t set the hook.. I felt the bite but figured the bluefish was hanging on to the tail of the zoom and the cobia prob didn’t have the hook in his mouth and figured he’d drop it and I could jig a cobe.. well the cobia let go, I jigged and watched 3 cobes go down on my zoom, felt weight.. set the hook, and ended up snagging a spinner shark. A series of events that happened so fast that I didn’t really know what was going on but made me sick when I watched the footage.. at least I still have all 10 fingers. There were certainly some hours where it was totally dead and we lost all hope multiple times, but that is kayak cobia fishing.
