Coogee Beach was absolutely stunning.

People were swimming, jogging, practising yoga and simply enjoying a beautiful Sydney morning. The atmosphere was calm, relaxed and full of life.

Then, in an instant, everything changed.

A horrific shark attack on a 35-year-old mother and teacher turned serenity into tragedy. I was there and witnessed the incredible response from lifeguards, first responders and members of the public who worked tirelessly to help.

This video is my personal account of that shocking morning and a tribute to the courage and professionalism of everyone involved.
