DUNSTER CASTLE & VILLAGE - National Trust | UK Days Out

Take a visit to National Trust property Dunster Castle and village near Minehead in Somerset.

My mother and I visit Dunster Castle in Exmoor. Dunster Castle is a National Trust property that is a former motte and bailey castle in the village of Dunster, Somerset. The castle sits atop a hill with excellent views of the surrounding Somerset countryside. It was the family home of the Luttrell family for 600 years.
On our visit we spend time exploring inside and outside the castle, including touring all rooms open to the public at the moment. We visit the South Terrace garden and also walk to the watermill garden, which we love.
We then take a walk into Dunster village itself, which is a medieval Exmoor village. In Dunster village we find some small charming village gardens as well as taking a walk along the high street.
We had a brilliant day out at National Trust's Dunster Castle and village. Thank you for watching!
