The Lorenz Attractor in 3D
The Lorenz Attractor in 3D
As a follow up to an earlier video I made on exploring the Lorenz Attractor using Python and PyGame, I have been experimenting with ways of visualizing the attractor properly in three dimensions. This animation was created using the free and open-source software called Blender and I will soon be posting a tutorial on how this was done, so watch this space! But for now, I hope you enjoy the animation as a demonstration of how beautiful mathematics can be.
