The Super Rare £98,000 Mercedes AMG SL60 (R129) Review

If you wanted to cruise down to the Riviera in the late 1990s, you could take a Ferrari 550. Or, if you wanted to be less showy and more comfortable, you could have bought one of these. One of only 49 produced in right hand drive, the SL60 was one of the first cars made after AMG was bought out by Daimler-Benz and features a 6L V8 up front. Of course, badge politics meant that AMG's lump was only ever advertised as having "380hp", as the flagship SL600's V12 made 389.
