John E. Midnight was a bombastic and legendary disk jockey on Case Western Reserve University's WRUW 91.1 FM in Cleveland, Ohio, where from 2003 to 2008 he hosted the Sunday afternoon show, "Dig, Baby, Dig! The 60s Rock 'n' Roll Excavation."

Midnight (aka John Potwora of the Cleveland power pop band Paranoid Lovesick) would unearth some of the deepest cuts of great garage rock ever heard anywhere, and deliver it all in his characteristic incredible way.
