Das M’era Luna Festival auf dem Flugplatz Drispenstedt in Hildesheim ist jedes Jahr im August wieder Treffpunkt für die schwarze Szene aus ganz Europa, um ein friedliches und entspanntes Wochenende mit alten und neuen Freunden zu verbringen.

Every year, the M’era Luna Festival on the Drispenstedt airfield in Hildesheim is a meeting place for the Goth scene from all over Europe, in order to spend a peaceful and relaxed weekend with old and new friends. As well as the constantly top-class headliners, the main attractions for visitors from all over the world include the special atmosphere, the short distances, the medieval market or the extravagant fashion show.

Manche Dinge passieren mit einer Selbstverständlichkeit, dass sie an Urgewalten erinnern. So sicher, wie auf den Tag die Nacht folgt, so unerschütterlich wie der Tanz von Ebbe und Flut, so beständig wie die Jahreszeiten tauchen ein mal im Jahr eure wunderschönen Gesichter auf einem kleinen Flecken Hildesheimer Erde auf. Und jedes Jahr wieder freuen wir uns unbändig, in diese mannigfaltigen Gesichter schauen zu können, mit all ihren Erlebnissen, mit all ihren Wegen, die sie schon gegangen sind und womöglich noch gehen werden, mit all ihren einzigartigen Geschichten. Das M'era Luna hat nicht nur ein Gesicht, es hat viele. Und hier sind nur ein paar davon:

Some things happen as a matter of course, almost like primordial forces. As sure as the night follows the night, as steadfast as the dance of ebb and flow, as constant as the seasons, once a year your beautiful faces appear on a small patch of Hildesheims soil. And every year, we rejoice while looking into these various faces, with all their experiences, with all the ways they have already gone and possibly will go, with all their unique stories. M'era Luna does not just have a face, it has many. And here are just a few of them:
