Hi Friends! This pair of sad chairs were in need of a makeover, badly. They had good bones and tons of potential, just needed some TLC. I re-covered them with some beautiful fabric and painted them in a beautiful shade of chalk paint before distressing them. They turned out gorgeous. When they were finished I traded them for a twin bed frame for my daughters room. A good friend of mine was selling the bed frame for $50 on facebook and I asked if she would be willing to trade and she was up for it! The bed was a beautiful white wood headboard with a beadboard finish that matched my daughters room perfectly. It was a win-win. Have you ever bartered for furniture? Maybe you should try! I will definitely be doing more of that in the future when possible.
