Configure Incremental Refresh in Power BI with Power BI Pro License

In this video, we will learn about the configuration process for Incremental Refresh in Power BI. Here, we will take an example of real-life data where the data source is supported Query Scaffolding.

With February 2020 update, Incremental Refresh is available with Power BI Pro license. So, you can leverage this feature with your report.

We will define two date parameters – Range Start and Range End to configure incremental refresh.

Then we need to define the period range for the data which you wish to have for the first time when you publish your report to Power BI Service. Then we need to set the interval for the refresh period where you need to define how much time period you wish to consider for your incremental refresh. At last, we will test the incremental refresh with different use cases.

Here you will learn the following concepts.
