7 SpaceX Mars Landing Sites - 2025 update

SpaceX and NASA have honed in on seven candidate landing sites for Mars. These are at mid-northern latitudes of 35°-40°N, and are believed to have large amounts of subsurface water ice near the surface. At this latitude solar irradiance is still good. This video does a deep dive at each region, zooming in using the fantastic images of the HiRise camera/telescope in orbit around Mars.
