Chromecast, one phone, no wifi, hotspot only.

How to connect your phone using only one phone with hotspot on. I named my wifi hotspot the exact same name (and password) as my wifi router. I believe you have to initially set this up with either wifi available or two phones with one hotspot on. After the initial setup it will work every time without the second phone or wifi. The video shows us starting out using WiFi, but that was for clarity only.

I believe also that the Chromecast wants to go to its original wifi source if it is available. I had to shut my wifi off to get Chromecast to connect to my hotspot at home. Outside of my home it starts up using hotspot with no problem at all.

I'll try to answer questions but I'm not a super techy guy. I just know this works. Chromecast should be way easier to use than it is!
