Gasteracantha

Shooting spiders in my back yard produced an amazing lucky shot. Just as I began to record I saw the web shake violently. I looked up to see a beetle had just landed in the web and was trapped. I got a nice sequence of the spider checking the web and starting to process his catch. I believe the spider is from the genus gasteracantha and species clavigera.
