Add Some Prestige to Your Stamp Collection with Prestige Booklets

Since 1969, Great Britain - followed by many other countries, since then - has issued what Royal Mail dubbed "Prestige Booklets." These are stamp booklets that go far beyond the old strip of stamps stapled into a simple cardboard cover. Prestige booklets are miniature books, containing not just panes of stamps, but up to 64 pages of text and pictures dedicated to the subject of the booklet. This episode looks at the beginnings of these booklets, and presents an overview of some of the many prestige booklets issued by other countries, as well.
