Chartwork for deck officers - What are Tidal diamonds?
This is a short video on the topic of tidal diamonds from which we can get information on tidal streams. Tidal diamonds are drawn on paper charts for the use of navigators on ships. Currents have an effect on the ship's course and the ship's navigator must be aware of their presence in a particular ocean area.
