Petey builds a virtual recreation of the universe inside a shoebox, but when he gazes at the vast emptiness inside, he becomes a nihilist, forgoing his belief in God, or anything else. Of course Cookie is terrified for Petey’s soul, but the teenager can’t be swayed.

Cookie consults her Virgin Mary Statue, who kvetches about her own Son before agreeing to help Cookie. Just get the boy to pray for something and the Virgin will put a word in to the man upstairs to make it happen.

Jimmy and Cheech figure they can boost the boy’s confidence by hiring a girl to cheer him up – just like Jimmy’s father did for him.
At school, Gina’s principal Mr. Pistergas spots her extorting money from other kids. He confiscates the cash, vowing to give it back to the rightful owners.

Come Sunday, as the rest of the family heads out to church, Cookie begs Petey to try praying. When everyone is gone, Petey facetiously prays for a hot girl to show up at his door. The bell rings and standing there is the girl his father hired for him. It’s a miracle! Petey is suddenly filled with religious fervor and doesn’t sleep with the call girl, he just plays scrabble with her.

When Jimmy hears that Petey is in love with the girl, he finds himself having to continue paying her to spend time with his son. All of their ‘dates’ are innocent and religious, but it’s still costing Jimmy big bucks.

Gina discovers that Pistergas has been spending her hard-earned extortion money on himself, worse than that, he’s realized that the McDougal family may not be what they seem. Gina gets McCool to help her take care of the Pistergas situation.

Petey's newfound religious zeal drives everyone nuts. He winds up alienating the members of his family with his stern judgments, so Jimmy admits the girl is a giant whore. Instead of denouncing his ‘girlfriend’, Petey vows to save her from her life of sin,
He tracks her down at the University of Regina, where he bursts into her class, embarrassing the girl. She takes Petey outside and tells him she’s just doing this to work her way through college. Their time together was “just business,” it meant nothing to her.
Petey is devastated and becomes even more depressed than before. Science has failed him. Religion has failed him. What is the point of living? Jimmy cheers his son up with a pep-talk. Petey may be a nerd now, but nerds grow up to be rich and successful.

Fugget About It is a new animated comedy sitcom about the misadventures of Jimmy Falcone. Jimmy is a former New York mob boss, who goes from feared capo to friendly Canuck when he and his family enter the witness protection program in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. After Jimmy is asked by his associates in the Gambini crime family to whack his good old Uncle Cheech (who routinely spills mob secrets to any half naked woman he encounters), Jimmy goes to mob boss Don Gambini to plead his uncle’s case. When nothing comes of it, he politely throws Gambini out of a nineteen storey window. With all of New York out to get him, Jimmy has no choice but to turn to the Feds, who move the Falcones to Regina, change their name to MacDougal, and teach them how to live like regular schnooks in the Great White North.
