The lemon peel extract lightens skin for the purpose of reducing the appearance of these conditions. This Lemon Butter was created with the following functions in mind:

FAQ:
1. Should I add a preservative to the Lemon Body Butter?
Answer: No and Yes, depends
Reason: Avoid putting wet hands into the jar. Use a wooden spoon. Once water is introduced to the product, it is contaminated and will grow bacteria, mold, etc. If you can avoid water getting in to the product, then you are safe and do not need a preservative. This product will last as long as the shelf life of your ingredients. When it comes to oils and butters, the shelf life is usually 12 months or more.
