Decline in construction apprenticeships flags concern for housing crisis

The number of new home builds could plummet as the number of construction apprenticeships decline.

According to analysis in The Daily Telegraph, nearly 42,000 people began trade training in 2023.

That is down from a peak of just over 54,000 the previous year.
