My Stihl 090 mounted in a Granberg Alaskan Mill gets the job done. Chainsaw milling requires some effort, but have a look at the results. These are high dollar slabs that can be used in making furniture that will definitely stand out. I'll be air drying this walnut for several years and then may finish off a piece or two at a time in a kiln when I'm ready to use it. I'll most likely make table tops out of the majority of the wood but will surely use it in other ways as well.
