Teach Layups in 5 Minutes at any level!

You can teach a layup using right and left hand in just 5 minutes using these easy steps with two basketballs. We have had much success with kids as young as 7 years old using this method. The reason for moving without the ball is to teach the proper footwork.
Edited January 2018-We had much success teaching younger developmental players this way. The players that went through these and other developmental drills were very successful in Junior High and High School playing basketball. This young man here is now a sophomore in a larger high school and is a major contributor to the team. He won the state super shooters contest and was state runner up in free throws. He was on the varsity team as a freshman as well. He is one of the best shooters in the area. His fundamentals are sound as well. Everyone has their own method for creating success.
Edited May 2020-CJ continued to enjoy the success from daily repeated efforts in his fundamentals and shooting. His team won back to back state Championships at his High School. They went 29-0 this year. He was a three year starter for the team. He led the team in assists and shot 48% from the 3 point line. He was part of one of the most successful programs in state history.
Along those lines...several of the youth participants that came out of this program also went on to play at the state championship level. The girls from this program won over 100 games in four years in high school and were in the state tournament 5 times in 6 years. They were in the championship game twice. Several of these players are now playing college basketball with one player playing on a National Championship team last year. If you want to succeed and play at a high level it takes daily repeated efforts and a strong desire to improve.
