British Airways Airbus A320-251N London Heathrow to Manchester | Full Flight

A pleasant afternoon trip back up North courtesy once again of British Airways. Having found out early on my return aircraft would be the one parked just below me on the T5 car park. I opted to only head airside around an hour before the scheduled departure time. T5 on this afternoon was absolutely dead and it took around a minute to clear security. Within about 5 minutes of entering the terminal I was at the gate waiting to board G-TTNG. Unfortunately, it wasn't me that ended up being late on this flight, but it was in fact the fault of G-YMMJ that arrived late from Abuja, it just happened that our flight had a large amount of connecting passengers onboard, and as this was the last MAN flight of the day, BA opted to delay our flight for about 45 minutes to allow these passengers to make it. I was in no rush so this was no issue to me!

We eventually got going about 16:15 taxiing just half way down the length of 27R departing from taxiway A8. Despite the gusting crosswind the takeoff and climb were very smooth. A very quick flight up with little to report on, the free drink and snack were a nice touch again. The crew on this flight, who actually happened to be the exact same as my outbound flight, were just as friendly as earlier in the day! We eventually began a bumpy approach and landing arriving at a very quiet Manchester just about 35 minutes late.

Can't wait to get back in the air already!
