Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s reunion has fans totally freaking out and its now being reported that they’ve been in touch since February!

First of all were you a Bennifer fan?

Fans were first shocked after they were spotted together at her home in late April... just 2 weeks post arod split...and then details started to emerge about a trip they took together to Montana where Ben has a home!
"[Jennifer] spent several days with Ben out of town. They have a strong connection. It's all been quick and intense, but Jennifer is happy," a source tells PEOPLE of the pair who were later spotted arriving back in L.A. on Saturday on a private jet.

TMZ is reporting that they didn't just rekindle their romance within the last 2 weeks it's been building since February ...
Their sources say Ben and J Lo were in very regular contact by email starting in early February when she flew to the Caribbean to begin filming "Shotgun Wedding."
They’re told the tone of the emails wasn't just friendly ... but more loving and longing for Jen
DISCUSS: at the time JLO would have still been engaged, at least PUBLICLY to Arod, if you remember after split rumors started he flew there to visit her and photos surfaced of them kissing….if this source is accurate the timeline is a bit messy...
TMZ’s source shared details of WHAT was in their emails…
For instance, after seeing pics of Jennifer in the D.R., he wrote to tell her how beautiful she looked, and how much he wished he could be down there with her.
sources say the emails also referenced J Lo's love for Ben's writing, and included a line about him being able to "own her heart" with his pen.
they continued emailing each other, back and forth, for the duration of J Lo's shoot ... which wrapped in late April.

DISCUSS: their reunion seemed very sudden, but if this is all true it makes more sense…
After Arod & Jlo announced they were ending their relationship sources quickly started reporting that Arod wanted Jlo back…
A source close to J.Lo tells E! News the retired MLB player is flabbergasted more than anything else, especially since they officially broke up and called off their engagement just a month ago.
"A-Rod is shocked that J.Lo has moved on," the source reveals. "He truly thought they would be able to make it work and reconnect. He has been reaching out to J.Lo trying to meet with her and she has been very short with him."
According to the source, Alex is "saddened" about J.Lo's reunion with the Justice League actor, so much so that he's reached out to her to let her know "he's upset."
As the insider summed it up, "She's not interested in rekindling anything with A-Rod and is done."

E’s source also says…
"She wants to give it a shot with Ben," the insider puts it simply. "They never really had closure and she has always wondered what could have been. The timing was never right and they were in different places until now."
