0:26 Spot stacks are like stacks which are background vocals but instead of doing them for the whole length of the main vocal you only do them in certain spots.

0:46 Spot stacks are used for several reasons. They can be used to add more energy where needed, fill in or add more emphasis to words that may be lacking, or you may love your main vocal but just want to add a little more character to it.
