Lessons Learned from Hospitals' Ebola and COVID-19 Experience

This video discusses the actions hospitals took following the Ebola outbreak to improve preparedness, as well as the challenges hospitals faced during COVID-19 and the strategies used to respond to those challenges. After the Ebola threat, hospitals took a variety of actions to improve their preparedness, including revising their emergency plans, increasing staff training, conducting drills and exercises, and purchasing additional resources. The COVID-19 pandemic brought a new set of challenges . These lessons can assist health care facilities in preparing for and responding to emergencies as they arise.
