: Digital tour of Sumperk Hall III. – Inside view

Dormer Pramet is expanding its Šumperk manufacturing facility, with a new 4,500 sqm. building, scheduled for completion in 2024. First inserts will be delivered from the new hall at the end of 2024.

The hall will become a new home to pressing and sintering departments. It will enable the expansion of production in Šumperk, supporting the improvement of working conditions in the cobalt sector. Double changing rooms for clean and dirty areas will further improve the safety of employees coming into contact with cobalt. The new hall project is a contribution to achieving the targets of reducing CO2 and waste by 25% by 2025, as it will enable changes in logistics processes that will lead to a reduction in both indicators.

The combination of new technologies in the Hall III. together with additional machine investments within existing halls will lead to increase of inserts production capacity by more than 50%. This will create enough room for planned expansion of sales in the coming years so customers might rely on Dormer Pramet’s ability to produce and deliver its products across all markets.
