Siglo Cero - Latinoamérica (Colombia, 1970) (Full Album) [Jazz-Rock]

Siglo Cero was a Colombian band founded in 1970. Born from the dissolution of several 60s Bogotá based bands like The Speakers and Ampex, the band displayed wild and free jazz rock unheard of in the country at the time. Composed of 2 sides (Viaje I and Viaje II) this is a one take improvisation partially recorded during the Festival de la Vida in June 27th, 1970, the first counterculture music festival in the history of the country, having over 14,000 spectators at Bogota's iconic Parque Nacional. Unfortunately some sections of the master were damaged and had to be rerecorded in studio. Siglo Cero was a one-off effort with this single album for a discography. It's members soon formed other iconic colombian bands such as Humberto Monroy's Genesis de Colombia and Roberto Fiorelli's Columna de Fuego. I will be posting the latter album soon.

This is a remastered take from a vinyl rip. Care was taken to reduce surface noise and crackling.
