Hands-on, the giant LEGO Helicarrier's attention to detail is stunning

LEGO Marvel 76354 S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier is an absolutely massive 3,057-piece recreation of the iconic flying base from the first Avengers movie, featuring minifigures for Captain America, mind-controlled Hawkeye, Maria Hill, Nick Fury, Phil Coulson and, despite not actually being in that film, the Winter Soldier.

This set is the work of veteran LEGO designer Mark Stafford, who, when the set was shown off at Fan Media Days last year, had plenty to say about the choices that went into its creation.
