Camino de Santiago Documentary | IS THIS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PART of the Camino to Finisterre | Ep 54
Join us on our travels! About this episode:
We wake to a beautiful morning and a mystical mist as we start our way to Cee which is about a 21km walk. Before we leave, we show around our alburgue which actually was really well laid out (Alburgie Monte Aro - https://alberguemontearo.com/en/road-to-fisterra/). As we start our walk we capture some beautiful imagery of the surrounding area and we come to our first cafe con leche stop of the day.
Mark shares his thoughts around the stays in alburgues and AirBnB' whilst on this part of the Camino. We stop around lunchtime for a quick drink and bite to eat (snacks!) before we start walking for 12km without any cafes on route 😱. This part of the walk has been called out by John Brierley (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Pilgrims-Guide-Camino-Santiago-Frances/dp/1912216051) as the most beautifully scenic part of the Camino and he is not wrong.
We arrive at a beautiful little church and sign the Camino book and we have a well earned rest before continuing with our journey (p.s. do not write on compels and leave it stuck to a church 🤣).
After a steep walk into Cee, we find our AirBnB grab some dinner and a beer and head to bed ready for the next days walk.
