Guatemala protesters set congress on fire
Hundreds of protesters broke into Guatemala’s congress and set fire to part of the building amid growing protests against education and health budget cuts.They are calling on the president, Alejandro Giammattei, to step down and were angered after legislators approved almost £50,000 to pay for meals for themselves, but reduced spending on coronavirus patients and human rights agencies
