Continuing with innovative machinery for the cotton industry is the patented Collier & Miller Cotton Row Mulcher. Designed for a massive 12 row single pass, this Mulcher features individual heads for ultra wide capacity and class leading speed.
Seen in action at Carrathool, New South Wales, Australia it is attached to a John Deere 8345R row-crop tractor rated at 291 PTO Horsepower with a maximum linkage lift capacity of 11,900KG. The Collier and Miller Cotton Row Mulcher weighs in at 8000KG, tractor PTO speed of 1000 RPM with final rotor speed increased to 1900 RPM. Depending on crop density, operational speeds of up to 10 KPH has been achieved with crops height exceeding 900mm.
