BIG BROOK TROUT Fishing in ALGONQUIN PARK - Spring Shore Fishing for Native Algonquin Brookies

In this video, the Average Joes headed into Algonquin Park for the opening day of trout season 2021.

We chose a lake that we have done well at in the past, and headed in on a day trip to do some shore fishing. We ended up getting into a good number of Beautiful Native Ontario Brook Trout. These fish put up a wicked fight and are some of, if not the most delicious fish you can catch in Ontario.

Fishing for trout in the spring and fall can be very simple and easy. This video shows you how easy it is. Gear can be kept to a minimal at this time of year, and canoes aren't required because the cool spring temperatures still have the trout glued to shore feeding on bait in the shallows of the lake.

For the most part we used a simple hook/sinker/bobber setup for the trout. This day they were hungry and were swallowing anything we threw at them including dead minnows, worms, and lures.
