RITTENHOUSE TRIAL: The prosecution begins its presentation of evidence in the homicide trial of Kyle Rittenhouse. The 18-year-old faces six counts related to a fatal Kenosha shooting in 2020 during protests related to the shooting of Jacob Blake.

Among the charges is first-degree murder, conviction on which carries a mandatory life-sentence.
