Danny Gatton,, that rascal was untouchable.. About 30 some years ago,(before internet) my older brother who lives in Calif, calls me and says... ,, ,, Bro-{you are into music, find out something for me. I had a friend who was into music when I was in school, see if he ever did anything. They used to sit us alphabetically in school, he sat next to me in three schools. His name is Danny Gatton} ,, ,, Me-(WHAT !!, you know Danny Gatton, he is world famous as one of the best guitarist on the planet!) ,, ,, Bro-{you know Danny, he used to come over to our bedroom on Horner(3646), when we had bunk beds} ,, ,, Me-(no, I was little, I don't remember anybody) ,, ,, Bro-{he used to flick your ears} ,, ,, Me- (Ohh, THAT GUY!!) .....as soon as he said that, I could clearly see the kid with the guitar. He didn't torment me or anything like that. It was just his way of kind of saying, 'hi kid, remember me'. He was right, if he had not done that, I would not have remembered him. Must be survival instinct that makes the memory of a little bit of pain last longer than the memory of a little bit of joy... SO,, you can say that I was touched by Danny Gatton when I was a child,,, maybe that explains it,,, (the lump on my ear)
