The amount of characters I've associated with this song is ridiculous. Eleven's journey of identity has always been so heavily dictated by her surroundings, for better and worse. It's a universal condition but her extreme circumstances have made her coming of age all the more tragic. This was a not at all heart wrenching way to spend my time.
