Millie Bobby Brown has quickly established herself as a one of the industry's most exciting young actresses. Born in Spain to British parents and raised globally ,Brown is one of those rare raw talents who has been able to captivate viewers with her engaging performances at such a young age.

After moving to Los Angeles with her parents when she was eight, Brown quickly garnered industry attention and began to audition. She taught herself to speak with an American accent, and booked a small recurring role on the ABC series Once Upon A Time in Wonderland as "Young Alice."

Brown continued to hone her acting skills, and after a worldwide search for which hundreds of young girls auditioned, booked the pivotal role of "Madison" in the series Intruders for BBC America. The role demanded incredible range from Brown, requiring her at times to play a young girl with strange dreams, to an adult man on a quest for revenge. Following her performance in Intruders, Brown booked guest-starring roles on several hit television shows, including Modern Family, Grey's Anatomy and NCIS.

In 2016, Brown garnered international attention and critical praise on behalf of her performance in the Golden Globe-nominated Netflix series Stranger Things. The eight-episode series, created by Matt and Ross Duffer and co-starring Winona Ryder, follows the disappearance of a young boy in a small town. Brown plays"Eleven," a young girl with many psychokinetic gifts and a mysterious past. Critics applauded Brown's "note-perfect" (Variety) and"career-launching performance" (The New Yorker), noting how "with few words, she manages to evoke a cacophony of emotion, from terror to tender young love" (Los Angeles Times) .She received a Peoples Choice Award nomination for "Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Actress," as well as two Screen Actors Guild nominations for "Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series" and "Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series," which the cast ultimately won. The series also received a Critics Choice Award nomination and Peoples Choice Award nomination, and in May 2017, Brown won the first ever "Best Actor in a Show" MTV Movie & TV Award. The series also took away the prize of "Best TV Show" at the awards ceremony. Stranger Things will return for a second season this October.

Brown made Variety's 2016 "Power of Young Hollywood" list as an up-and-coming actor to watch, and was named the #1 "Breakout Star" of 2016 by IMDB. She also had the tremendous honor of hosting UNICEF's star-studded 70th anniversary "youth takeover" event at the United Nations last November, which featured children and young people who have benefited directly from UNICEF's efforts.

It was recently announced that Brown will take on her first feature film role in Michael Doughterty’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The film will be distributed by Warner Brothers Studios, Legendary PicturesonMarch 22, 2019.

Brown currently resides in Atlanta.
