Hello everyone, MT here with the usual trainspotting action. Haven’t filmed at Manchester Piccadilly for over three years now and much has been changing there since the last time I filmed which involved the new operators taking over the franchises of both the West Coast rail and the railways in Wales and new units for Northern and TPE in passenger service. Therefore, I used this chance to get some shots. All of this was done in 45 minutes during a cloudy Tuesday afternoon. There was the usual passenger along with a single freight passing through. Plus, there was a sudden surprise too because rail unit 350408 who is at the moment still in operation for TPE working on a service to Glasgow received London Northwestern Railway livery bound to be transferred to West Midlands Trains some point later this year.
