On this episode I continue with the ongoing restoration of this 1979 Kenworth W900A truck to turn it into a tribute movie truck to the one used in the 1977 classic movie Smokey and the Bandit with Burt Reynolds, Jerry Reed and Jackie Gleason. If you haven’t seen it yet, what are you waiting for??? “What we’re dealing with here is a complete lack of respect for the law”

Kicking things off I get the survivor bumper refurbished to “like-new”. Next I mounted the period and movie-correct Perlux 200T fog lights. Finally I start tackling the interior in preparation for the install of the brand new DayCab Company interior panels. I just couldn’t stand any longer to look at that red-ish orange paint and decided to Paint it Black to better match the movie truck. Then I replaced the rotten part of the exhaust since I still had easy access and finished out the episode with installing the new floor.
